Bhulekh – UP Land Records

Bhulekh is online land record portal for Uttar Pradesh state in India.

Indian government initiated a land record computerization program which is known as National Land Record Modernization Program (NLRMP). Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has also started the facility to provide all the land records online under the NLRMP known as Bhulekh.

Bhulekh which means bhu + alekh (Land + Records) is the facility to check online land records in Uttar Pradesh state.

It was very difficult to get land related information like Records of Right, Fard, Khata Khatauni, Bhu naksha and other information. NLRMP program has solved this problem by developing a website. The website is developed by National Informatics Center (NIC Lucknow) to provide online land record (Records of Rights) in UP. The website is in Hindi and has very easy user interface to use it. One can search bhulekh by Khasra number or khata number or name after filtering district, tehsil and village.

How to check online land records (Bhulekh) in UP?

Here are steps to search land record on bhulekh website of UP government.

Step 1: First of all go to official website of Bhulekh UP (http://bhulekh.up.nic.in). Then click on ‘अपने खाते की नक़ल देखे’. Here you can see district names on the left hand side of the website.

Step 2: Select your district from the list. When you select the district from the list website, it shows you tehsil names of district selected.

Step 3: Now you have to select your tehsil name. Once you will select tehsil name it will show you the village names of selected tehsil.

Step 4: Next step is to select village name and click on ‘आगे‘ button.

Step 5: Now you can search land records with any of the following three options.

  • Khasra number (खसरा नंबर अनुसार).
  • Khata number (खता नंबर अनुसार).
  • Name (नाम अनुसार).

You can check land record (bhulekh) of following districts:
Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Amroha, Auraiya, Azamgarh, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Barabanki, Bareilly, Basti, Bijnor, Budaun, Bulandshahar, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etah, Etawah, Faizabad, Farukkhabad, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Ghazipur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Jalaun, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Kushi Nagar (Padrauna), Lakhimpur Kheri, Lalitpur, Lucknow, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Mathura, Mau, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Muzaffar Nagar, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Raebareli, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Shahjahanpur, Shamali, Shravasti, Siddharth Nagar, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur, Unnao and Varanasi districts.

  1. I searched for bhu naksha in up govt. Site for village- dev chat, tehsil- sadar, district- prayagraj. The site is accepting district and tehsil but not showing village, as there is a lot miscreancy done by officials so this village bhu naksha is not uploaded.

    My Father have purchased a land in District- Varanasi ,Tahseel- Sadar, Village-Lohta an 8 year ago that Registry and mutation both have done already.

    After this long purchase time the land records still not updated online on bhulekh website .When I search on website then “no data available” is coming always.

    Could you please let me what should do for me so that land record get show online on bhulekh website.

    • bhulekh.com is not official website for up bhulekh. for bhulekh up land records you should visit official website bhulekh.up.nic.in

      There is no official statement from webmasters to the up bhulekh website regarding website data updation frequency.

    • Dear Daya Ram,

      Its always better to check record from official website. We would like to advice you to check UP Bhulekh only on bhulekh.up.nic.in. Some people have started websites with similar names be aware with these types of websites.
