Now people of Odisha (Orissa) state also check land records of various districts of Orissa online on government website. To avail land records online Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Orissa has developed a Land Records Portal. This portal is popularly known as Bhulekh Orissa and available online at bhulekh.ori.nic.in URL. Users have to select the name of the district, sub division, tehsil, name of the village and Khatiyan number or plot number or tenant name to view the land record online. Maps and related forms are also available on this portal.

Bhulekh Orissa

As of April 2017 Bhulekh Orissa official website maintaining 1,47,77,930 khatiyans of 51,679 villages.  The website has records of 30 districts of Orrisa. These districts are divided into 317 Tehsils and 2413 RI circles to manage bhulekh records.

How to check land record online?

Here are steps to check Orissa land records (RoR) on Bhulekh Orissa site.

  1. Go on the official website of Bhulekh – a Land Records Web Portal of Orissa (Now Odisha) i.e. http://bhulekh.ori.nic.in.
  2. In ‘Select Location for RoR’ select your district name from drop-down.
  3. Then select Tahasil from drop-down.
  4. Next step is to select village from drop-down.
  5. Now choose any of the following option to search your land record.
    1. Khatiyan
    2. Plot
    3. Tenant

How to view Bhunaksha (Plot Map)?

Bhulekh Orissa also provides plot map (bhunaksha) online through its web portal. To view or print plot map (bhunaksha) in Orissa follow simple steps given below.

  1. Go to Bhulekh Orissa Website  bhulekh.ori.nic.in.
  2. Click on ‘Map View’ link on menu bar.
  3. Select your district, Tahsil, Village and plot number from down.
  4. Click ‘View Map’ button to view your plot map.

Bhulekh Orissa is available for following districts of Odisha state.

Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bargarh (Baragarh), Boudh (Bauda), Bhadrak, Cuttack, Debagarh (Deogarh), Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Kendujhar (Keonjhar), Khordha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Subarnapur (Sonepur), and Sundergarh.

Steps to install odia font for bhulekh.ori.nic.in

Update: Now Bhulekha Orissa website can be viewed without odia font. New website is using UTF-8 for Oriya language.

  1. Go to the website http://bhulekh.ori.nic.in.
  2. Then click on link ‘Download Odia Font’ which on the left side of the web portal. It will open a popup (new window).
  3. Now again click on “Download Oriya Font” and save file on your machine.
  4. Then copy downloaded file (ORBWMK3N.TTF) to C:\Windows\Fonts Folder to install or open the font ORBW-TTMukta EN Normal and click on install.

  1. Any one can help me to know some data from BHULEKH.
    1. LAND CO-ORDINATE /PLOT CO-ORDINATE .
    2. AREA PILLAR POINT ( TRIKONI CHALK PILLAR ) from where area ( village map corner point ,moja start point ) which helps to correct measurement of any plot from “SARAHADA POINT” .
    3. Measument of bahu for any plot showing in bhulekh is correct or not if yes its unit of measurments.
    4. After completion of mutation and issue of PATA ,who changes record in bhulekh as it is remains pending for long period .How can we correct in bhulekh .
    5. Weather bhulekh helps to know pending cases in any land .This is essential to control land corruption in odisha and any body aquired LOAN on any plot can’t be repeated for loans .This process also helps to protect contrys properties in ” RESERVE BANK ” /RESERVE BANK MONEY for misappropriation of fund by way of multiple loan which is our income tax or diffrent tax amounts.

    Please make the Bhulekh portal user-friendly for the Prabasi Odias. It is requested to make it in the English language and alpha-numeric. The present format is a khichdi of Odia and English.The present or next generation of Odia origin Prabasis.
    2. Make the Bhulekh portal for legal use also. Presently it is not legal and doesn’t accepted in judicial matters.

  4. Maps shown in Bhulekh is completely wrong. My name was appearing against my plot and now it is changed, Something wrong is going on. Looks like officers are not in control or corrupt. Not sure what process is being followed.

In cases,the Bhulekh data is in total variance with the Patta which were issued by the Tehsil after due process of mutation.This means uploading of data into the site has been callous and irresponsible.Will the authorities concerned be kind enough to get it rechecked and edited through sensible and capable staff members!

    It is really untolerable for Odisha People,Our Honble CM is so kind enough to all the govt employee that they are earning i crore rupees per year after that the official staffs are really useless and sleeping in office not doing their duty properly

      Download the *.TTF file to your download folder / desktop
      Right click to extract the file ORBW-TTMukta EN
      Double click on extracted file to install or copy this file to the folder C:\Windows/Fonts (if your primary drive is C)

    Hence give the right session to solve the problem.

The previous version of of Bhulekh was very good but the new one is not so good, because there is no option for download the odia font, so it makes difficulties to see the land records, it is therefore kindly request to you please send any option for download the odia font for use the bhulekh orissa.

  47. The old prosses and letters of Bhulekha was wery well &letters are pure odia but now the fonts are not seems to be odia as I think that fonts are not entered by odia speaking men but by English speaking man . It is very insult to odia people.

    I closed the browser and tried. It didn’t work.

    • I Agreed with my dear Umakant its not working properly. however, it works some times but not a consistent performance. It needs a big improvement.
